GET TO KNOW ME

Hello, my name is Damian Hooker, and I am the proud owner of Strong Soul Mental Health. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am currently licensed in Texas and New Mexico. I have a passion for mental health and helping patients to become their best self. I use evidence based practice to treat patients to the best of my ability. I use compassion, empathy, and respect to ease patients through difficult times. I work with patients that have mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and etc. I also have experience with sleep medicine. I believe in the importance of involving patients in their care.

As a new patient, I will make a personalized plan of care that will enrich patients lives. I take the standard nonjudgmental approach to help each patient feel welcome and accepted. In my spare time I like  to workout and hang out with family and friends.
